Kobi is looking for his forever home, a home where he will be loved and allowed to live with his people. He spent the last two years of his live living in the basement of the family home in virtual isolation, whereas his first two years he was doted on and loved. Once the family started growing and they bought a bigger/better home, Kobi was just in the way. They couldn't keep the house clean enough for the kids and who knows why else.... Anyway, Kobi is a true lover and he WANTS to be with his people, you could nickname him velcro and he'd know that was his name! Kobi needs to go to a home without children or a home with children over 10. He has a few issues about "sharing" what he thinks is his. A good loving, but fair and firm owner can handle this just fine, but kids would have a problem with it. If you have the heart and home and are willing to work with Kobi, he will love you more than you have ever been loved before, it's all in his eyes, he's waiting just for you! Kobi is a 5 year old pure bred Chocolate Labrador. He house and crate trained, heartworm negative and fully vetted. Second Hope Rescue is located in Leonardtown, MD 20650 Please read below for some of our adoption policies: To meet any of our animals outside of a scheduled event, an approved application is required. The adoption donation is $200.00 unless stated otherwise. There is an additional, non-refundable $50 charge on any approved adoption when the adoptive home is located between 60-100 miles from Leonardtown, MD. If we agree to an adoption further than that there will be an additional charge. Any adoption further than 60 miles is at the discretion of the Board due to availability of volunteers.
