Preston can only be adopted to the local Southern Maryland area. Preston is a Cane Corso Mastiff mix and is about 1 year old. Preston is house and crate trained, neutered, heartworm negative and current on his shots. Preston walks great on a leash and knows how to walk with a backpack as well. Preston is a dominant dog and can only be adopted to a household with NO CHILDREN of any age. The perfect home for Preston would be a single person or a couple that are both on the same page for training and experience with large guardian breed dogs. Preston has lived with cats in the past as well as other dogs, but that will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Please contact lora@secondhoperescue.org. The adoption donation is $200.00 unless stated otherwise. There is an additional, non-refundable $50 charge on any approved adoption when the adoptive home is located between 60-100 miles from Leonardtown, MD. If we agree to an adoption further than that there will be an additional charge. Any adoption further than 60 miles is at the discretion of the Board due to availability of volunteers.
