This has been a hard year for Scruffy. Normally when mom and dad get a divorce they still keep the kids. But when Scruffy's parents split they also said goodbye to their dog and left him scared and confused at a shelter. Luckily, a HART volunteer stopped by the shelter and caught a glimpse of poor Scruffy's big, soulful eyes. She knew that she could not leave such a sweet boy behind. Currently, Scruffy lives with a foster family full of other dogs and love. Little Scruffy loves all people, car rides, and yummy dog treats. He would make a great addition to any home, and his Wheaten breed is a good choice for those needing a hypoallergenic pet.
