Tippy is a handsome Walker Hound, approximately 5+ years old. He was found in a rural setting, homeless and starved. Most likely been abandoned as a hunting dog. He is a sweet boy who likes having his belly rubbed! He is house trained and loves nothing more than curling up next to you for a nap.Tippy has good doggie manners but can show some food aggression toward other dogs. He gets along best with spayed females. While he does share space with cats in his foster home, his over-all interaction with cats is still somewhat unknown. Tippy has proven to be an accomplished escape artist and would need to be leashed while outdoors and/or secured with a tall fenced yard that he cannot climb. Since hounds are active dogs and need regular exercise to stay healthy and happy, Tippy's forever home would be able to give him the time outdoors that he so loves.
