Nicki is one of the really special ones. He got abandoned in his senior years and had no one to look after him. He came to us sad and depressed and with a host of minor physical ailments that needed attention. Over time and in a loving foster home, he has aquired a bounce in his step and a new outlook on life. Nicki has toys he likes to play with now and enjoys little walks - he even prances at times! He also adores attention and would love to be someone's lap dog. Nicki doesn't see very well, but it doesn't take him long to acclimate to a new location and navigate as if he has been there forever. He is looking for a very patient, loving home where he can be treated with respect and bask in comfortable living for many years to come!
