My name is Missey and I am a 10-year-old collie girl. I just love people (big and small) and I enjoy shadowing my foster mom when she is home from work and on the weekends. While she is gone, I am content to sleep, hang with my collie foster brother, and keep watch over the house. My foster mom's children tell me that I have a great personality and they can't believe that my previous family dumped me at the shelter (they had to move and couldn't take me).There are countless ways to describe me, but “family dog” describes me best. I absolutely love children, I get along with cats, and I am okay with other dogs as long as they are males (I can be a little bossy with the females!). While I am thankful to the folks at CRI, I really need to find a home as I know that I am taking up much needed foster space. This is crazy, but for some reason, people want to adopt the younger dogs (who are not trained and as well mannered as I am). I have a lot of faith though, because I know that humans have big hearts, and I know that there is someone out there who would love a companion like me!Please note, my adoption fee will be discounted since I am a senior.
