He's a very lively and playful 6-year old Beagle, weighing about 30 pounds. Kodie is ready for his second chance at finding a loving home. He was neglected and mistreated in his previous home. As a result he had to learn to trust people and be comfortable around them. His foster has been working very hard at showing him how wonderful it is to be loved! He now loves to be around people. He is a very devoted beagle and will follow you around everywhere. His foster brings him to work and he's found some very creative places to sneak a nap close by - see pictures of him sleeping on a garbage bag and under his foster's desk! The lucky person who adopts Kodie will experience how wonderful it is to have a faithful companion by their side, looking to them for love, affection, assurance, direction, and just relieved to be safe at your side. Kodie needs a family who has time to spend with him and teach him some manners and give him much love and attention! He's the perfect pet and will be your best friend forever. He's content to sit by your side when you're at your computer or watching TV; he loves to ride in the car and is a perfect passenger; and he loves to snuggle close!! He's as sweet as can be. He is also housebroken. He does not like to share toys and bones, so Kodie would do best in a home that does not have children under 12.
