She has spent much of her life waiting for someone to discover her greatness at the shelter. After 5 months of waiting and watching her sister leave with her new family, Holly remained hopeful that good things would come her way.Good things come to those who wait and a rescuer came one day to pick Holly up - not a moment too soon! Her rescuer had been visiting Holly regularly and spent a good deal of time with her. She was so impressed at how nothing got Holly down. Shelters can be depressing for some dogs and some "shut down". Not Holly! The rescuer put Holly in different situations to see how she would do and she reports that Holly is great with other dogs, playful, and energetic. On the day that Holly was rescued, she spent the entire drive to safety licking her rescuer's face.
