We have beautiful boxers, Boston terriers and magnificient mixes AGE: 9 months SEX: Spayed female WEIGHT: Will be around 40-45 lbs fully grown COLOR: Black/white GOOD WITH DOGS? Yes CATS? Unknown (expected yes but may chase) CHILDREN? Yes - children over 12 only per our adoption policy NEEDS FOSTER? Yes ADOPTION FEE: $225 Meg and Lois came to RBR back in November as little babies. They originally came from a kill shelter in western VA. The girls were adopted out together but, unfortunately, the family's situation changed and they were unable to take care of the girls any longer. Meg and Lois are now sweet 9 month old puppies. They are surprisingly calm and well behaved for such young dogs. They listen well and are friendly and affectionate. They know how to sit, lay down and stay on command. They will also do sit/stays for their dinner and wait until they are released to eat. Meg usually has shoestrings of drool hanging out of her mouth but she still waits for her foster mom to say "okay!" The girls are a little shy with new people but they warm up quickly. They are back in their original foster home with 5 small dogs. The 7 lb toy poodle keeps them in place! They are very gentle and submissive with the other dogs. Meg and Lois get along very well but they are not dependent on each other and should not be adopted together. Their foster mom reports that training is much easier when they are separated! They are food motivated and very eager to please so they love training time! They are around 35 lbs now but are a bit overweight! They should top out at 40-45 lbs. Meg and Lois have been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and are on flea/heartworm preventatives.
