Saturday Art Classes for Children
Give your child the gift of art!

Small group Saturday art classes (maximum of 6 students) given by a professional artist and art educator with 15 years of experience teaching in both public and private schools and at venues such as The Phillips Collection and The Corcoran School of Art, DCPS, Artist in Residence for the State of Delaware and the Sitar Center. Classes will be held in the artist's studio in Adams Morgan, NW.

We will be working in non toxic water color, sumi ink, pen and ink, and mixed media. The focus will be drawing and painting from life including botanical studies and portraits of people and animals. We will also briefly look at the art of Calder, Picasso, Mary Cassatt, O'Keeffe and Romare Bearden and Faith Ringgold for inspiration.

Children will make a new masterpiece of art each week!

Classes are for children ages 6 to 12 years.

Classes are on Saturdays from 11 am - 1 pm starting Oct. 17th to Dec 13, Nov. 29 is a Holiday.

Savings of packages of classes 5 for $250, 7 for $335 including supplies.

Classes are $52 for individual class including supplies.
