We need fosters so that we can save cats before they are euthanized at the shelters, so that they have more time to find a permanent family. She is approximately 10 years old and, since cats can live into their late teens and early twenties, Tiffany fortunately has many years ahead to finally have a happy life. Tiffany came from a family where she was treated badly, and then dumped at a rural high-kill shelter. The shelter was full, but the people there recognized what a special kitty Tiffany is and contacted Homeward Trails to help her. Luckily, a wonderful foster person stepped up, and Tiffany was brought up to the Washington DC area to begin her new life. Despite her ordeal, Tiffany is a sweet, affectionate, and perfectly mannered kitty. She particularly loves to be petted and brushed. Tiffany is adjusting well to her new surroundings, but she needs to find a permanent home where she can feel safe and cherished forever. Tiffany is a lovely girl who would show you her gratitude every day.The adoption fee for this cat is $100, which covers the cost of routine vet care, as well as spay/neuter surgery.
