On Wednesday, December 3, First Class Inc. will offer a class entitled "Massage for Pain and Stress Reduction" from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at 1726 20th St., N.W.

Do you regularly feel pain in your neck, shoulders, or lower back? Learn simple ways you can approach and ease common trouble spots, both manually and with the help of simple tools. You will also learn postural adjustments and simple stretching techniques to help prevent common aches and pains. Equally important is massage for stress reduction and self care. Incorporate self massage and aromatherapy into your daily practices, to be more centered and grounded.

Che` Monique has been fascinated with massage therapy since she was fifteen. She now runs Che` Monique Massage, which provides massages to individuals, workplaces and events in Northern Virginia and the District. Che` studied massage at the Northern Arizona Massage Therapy Institute in Sedona, Arizona. While in Sedona, a town known for its spas, Che` worked both in The Spa at Sedona Rouge and Sedona’s New Day Spa.
