A Day of Dedication: The Essential Writings & Speeches of Woodrow Wilson, edited and introduced by Albert Fried (copyright 1965). This edition (copyright 1988) is part of The Library of the Presidents series from Easton Press. This book, which is currently not available from the publisher, is in excellent condition.

Professor Fried’s fascinating introduction recounts Wilson’s private and public life, which lends helpful historical perspective to Wilson’s words. Each speech or essay is also introduced by a paragraph explaining its place in history.
