Description
Heaven is a Quaker Parrot, also known as a Monk Parakeet. Heaven's head was plucked by another bird and we won't know for a while if her feathers will grow back up there. Heaven can be shy at first and she takes a little time to adjust to a new place and new people, but, she steps up and is quite friendly once you build a trusting relationship with her. She is a very good eater! Heaven likes healthy foods such as fresh vegetables and fruit; she absolutely LOVES freshly-grown sprouts, and we'd be happy to teach you the simple process for growing them at home! Heaven really enjoys being around other birds (who don't pick her feathers, of course) and would be a great addition to her new family!
