Description
Mario is a 25 year old Senegal who lived in one home until he came to Phoenix Landing. Unlike most parrots, he is a very quiet fellow. Mario's gotten very good at stepping up and likes sitting on your shoulder, especially while you read or watch tv. Mario enjoys time playing on top of his cage or on a play gym -- he likes playing "fetch" with you as the retriever, loves shredding paper, and is learning about other toys too. Mario doesn't fly, so he stays put on cage or stand. He is still learning to eat great, healthy foods, such as veggies, but, he does like kiwi and some other fruits already.
