Description
Marcel is a 15 year old Umbrella Cockatoo who loves everybody he sees. He barks like a dog when he meets new people and he sometimes meows like a cat too -- it'd be a great trick training idea to work with him on performing these sounds "on cue"! And maybe you could help this smart guy learn other sounds and tricks as well. Marcel loves whatever he is fed, including veggies, fruits, and pellets. His favourites are sweet potato and cooked carrots. He needs a little more reassurance about taking mist-baths, but, he's learning to like them more and his feathers look great. Like all large birds, Marcel WILL make plenty of noise! He is very happy when he can spend lots and lots of time with you, but needs a home that will help him learn to play independently also. He loves to "recycle" cardboard boxes and play with rope and bead toys. Foraging for treats in his cage may be a perfect "indoor" activity for this wonderful, personable guy!
