Description
Daisy is a very sweet Umbrella Cockatoo. She likes people of all sorts and steps up quite well for everyone. Like most cockatoos, Daisy requires a home that will ensure she stays well-mannered by encouraging her to play independently in addition to paling around with her people. She is quite the mumbler, and will go on and on like she thinks you can understand what she's saying. One thing Daisy does ask for clearly is her bedtime -- when its time to settle in for the night she repeats "Good night" over and over til you cover her up. She's not generally loud, but, like all big birds, Daisy will make some big noise from time to time. Daisy needs some help with her diet -- she's willing to try new things, but, something she loves one day isn't even worthy of tasting the next. Someone who can experiment daily with a variety of fresh, healthy foods would be ideal for Daisy. Like all large birds, she requires a big cage to call her home and lots of toys to play with while you're away. Daisy gets along well with other large birds.
