Description
Frick and Frack are two Mexican Red Headed Amazon parrots. They are like an old married couple - true love punctuated by the occasional bickering. While Frick and Frack are not very used to people, they are making great progress. Frick is leading the way in expanding his diet to include healthy fruits, vegetables, legumes, and grains. Frack is less timid. She is even learning to step up onto a perch. They learn together - Frick shows Frack that bird pellets and healthy food can be delicious; and Frack shows Frick that people, new surroundings, and stepping up are safe. While somewhat timid, they are both very sweet birds and not aggressive. They both take food very gently from the hand. Most of the time they make quiet and curious sounds, however, they will sometimes make loud alarm calls when frightened. Frick and Frack are strongly bonded and must be adopted together.
